Originally released in 1976 but wonderfully timeless, it sits at the top of every library-funk collector's list. From the gritty crime-funk of "The Detectives" to the driving, horn-and-piano action of "The Big One" (famously sampled by Jay-Z), it's packed with dramatic, wah-laced, conga-enhanced funk built for tension and release. As with all Be With's KPM reissues, the audio comes from the original analogue tapes, remastered by Simon Francis with sleeve reproduction by Richard Robinson.
