Alligator Bites Never Heal, released in 2024, is the breakout mixtape from Doechii, the Tampa rapper, singer and visionary artist signed to Top Dawg Entertainment. It followed her weekly Swamp Sessions, which lit the internet on fire with eye-catching visuals and equally compelling bars, and gathers 19 tracks that capture a rare talent in her rawest form. Denial Is a River, Catfish, Boiled Peanuts and Nissan Altima show her range, flipping from razor-sharp rapping to playful, theatrical hooks. It won the Grammy for Best Rap Album. Pressed on translucent hazel vinyl.
