Blood on the Tracks is Bob Dylan's 15th studio album, released in 1975 and marking his return to Columbia Records after a two-album stint with Asylum. He first recorded the songs in New York, then abruptly re-cut much of the material in Minneapolis shortly before release, and the final album mixes five tracks from each city. The result is a raw, confessional song cycle on love and loss, carried by "Tangled Up in Blue," "Simple Twist of Fate," "Idiot Wind" and "Shelter from the Storm." This vinyl LP pressing includes a digital download.
