Released in 1970, their only album, the extraordinary Afreaka!, showcases their command of psychedelic soul, dub-heavy funk, progressive rock, afro-jazz, and black acid rock. Originally a soul band, they overhauled their sound after a trip to Morocco, emerging with the heady blend of funk, rock, jazz, and African music heard here. Today they are among the most bootlegged and sampled bands of the early-70s British underground. This is a limited edition of 2000 numbered copies on translucent purple 180-gram audiophile vinyl.
