Distance in Static is the latest album from Bonobo, the project of Simon Green, and it embraces the duality at the heart of his work: live artist and DJ, introspective composer and club-focussed selector. Much of it was made at Neil Young's Broken Arrow Ranch in Woodside, California, including 'Fire on the Water' with Arooj Aftab, while 'Drift' and 'Me and You' have already become favorites in Green's DJ sets. Marking twenty five years of Bonobo, it is both a celebration and a moment of transition. This edition is signed by Bonobo and pressed on 140g blue pastel vinyl with printed inner sleeves, an insert and postcards. Street date: September 11.
