Eyelid Movies is the 2010 debut from Phantogram, the upstate New York duo of Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel, and the record that put them at the front of the electronic-leaning indie rock wave of the decade. It pairs hip-hop-style beats and chopped samples with fuzzy guitars and Barthel's cool, smoky vocals. "When I'm Small" was the breakout, and "Mouthful of Diamonds" and "Running from the Cops" hold up just as well. Barsuk's reissue presses it on clear vinyl with a yellow swirl.
