The sole album from this male-female duo is a lost gem from the heart of the psychedelic 1970s, a long-time cult item highly praised in the Acid Archives book. Composed and self-produced in Nashville, Mosaics went unnoticed by the industry on release but became an underground favorite, combining top-level songwriting, skillful guitar and keyboard arrangements, and soaring vocals with a subtle, magnetic pull that keeps drawing listeners back. An early advocate was NYC musicologist and Endless Boogie bandleader Paul Major, who described it as cracker-box post-war suburban low-rent psychedelic, while VICE called it real mid-70s suburban lounge psych. This reissue adds a bonus track, extensive liner notes, photos, and multicolored vinyl.
