Two Door Cinema Club celebrate the 15th anniversary of Tourist History. Released in 2010, the album hit number one on the Irish chart, landed on the BBC Sound of 2010 poll, and went on to be a globally lauded debut, taking them from the Bangor garage where they wrote it to the main stages of festivals around the world. The band features singer/guitarist/programmer Alex Trimble, guitarist/singer Sam Halliday, and bassist/singer Kevin Baird. Trimble and Halliday met in school and connected with Baird through mutual friends, and the trio began writing in Trimble's parents' garage, skipping university to focus on the band. The gamble paid off: their self-released debut EP, Four Words to Stand On, arrived in January 2009 to positive reviews and blog buzz that grew with its lead track "Something Good Can Work." They have since landed top-ten UK albums with Beacon, Gameshow, False Alarm, and Keep on Smiling, confirming them as a global arena band and festival headliner.
