After nearly five decades as one of his generation's defining rock bassists, Flea steps out with Honora, his first full-length solo album, released on Nonesuch in March 2026. Time and space have finally let the Red Hot Chili Peppers co-founder return to his first musical loves: jazz and the trumpet. Lead single Traffic Lights, co-written with Thom Yorke and Josh Johnson, sets the tone for a loose, exploratory record that mixes improvisation, groove and unexpected tenderness. A fascinating turn from a restless musician, pressed across two LPs with an etched side.
