2026 repress, LP version with obi and a four-page insert. WeWantSounds presents the first official release outside Japan for The Mystery Kindaichi Band's The Adventures of Kindaichi Kosuke, originally issued in 1977. An "imaginary" soundtrack to writer Seishi Yokomizo's cult Kosuke Kindaichi detective novels, it was arranged by film and TV composer Kentaro Haneda, who assembled a supergroup of top Tokyo funk and city-pop session musicians. Across ten instrumentals of pure disco funk and breakbeats, it has become one of the most coveted Japanese LPs among international crate diggers. Remastered from the original tapes with faithfully reproduced artwork by Ichibun Sugimoto.
