Bobby Caldwell's two most enduring songs share a single heart-shaped 10-inch here, a fitting shape for two of the smoothest love songs of the late-'70s soul era. What You Won't Do for Love, from his 1978 debut, rides a silky horn line and his feather-light vocal into one of the great slow jams, later sampled by 2Pac on Do for Love. On the flip, Open Your Eyes from 1980's Cat in the Hat supplied the loop behind Common's The Light. Be With Records presses both on red heart-shaped vinyl.
