Hiroshi Sato - Time (Clear Deep Blue Color) Vinyl LP
Sato's sophomore album featuring an all-star lineup
- Clear Deep Blue Color vinyl reissue of Hiroshi Sato's 1977 album Time
- Recorded with Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuo Hayashi, Ponta Murakami and more
- Includes Bad Junky Blues, Yamate Hotel and Saigo no Tejina
Time is Hiroshi Sato's second album, cut in 1977 with an all-star crew of Tokyo players: Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuo Hayashi, Shuichi Ponta Murakami, Pecker, Nobu Saito and Chuei Yoshikawa among them. Mellow gems like Saigo no Tejina, Minami Kaikisen and Yamate Hotel sit beside the outright funk of Bad Junky Blues, and the keyboard work that made Sato a session favorite is all over it. A key early record in the story of city pop, reissued here on clear deep blue vinyl.
