In October 1977 the Cramps drove to Ardent Studios in Memphis and cut a pile of songs with Alex Chilton, who told them to record everything and sort it out later. Four of those takes became the band's first singles and Gravest Hits. The rest sat. Lux Interior and Poison Ivy mixed a full album from them in 1989, gave it a title and a Stephanie Chernikowski cover, then shelved it for reasons nobody wrote down. This is that album, cut from the analog tapes, with Chilton on organ for two tracks. Rockabilly, garage and B-movie noise from the band's first days.
