A second volume of unreleased music and stemmed grooves from Algeria's great film composer. Ahmed Malek moved between jazz, funk, psych, reggae and Latin rhythm without treating any of them as a costume: "Theme Rythme Leger" is flute, piano and Spanish guitar over a bossa pulse, "L'Empire Des Reves" is rocksteady with a sax line running through it, and "Theme Djalti" answers Morricone with Aida Guechoud's vocal over baroque strings. "La La La" is the one for the floor. The vinyl includes a booklet of interviews, clippings and unseen photos.
