Serani Poji formed as a project unit for the game music of Sega's Dreamcast game software "ROOMMANIA #203". Although they were fictional artists in the game, they made their CD debut in October 1999 with the album "manamoon" prior to the game's release. The unit name is derived from the name of a fictional girl.
