Album Facts
Chris Stapleton - Starting Over (180g) Vinyl LP
A country album good enough to be in a mostly hip-hop shop
- Double 180 gram vinyl pressing of Chris Stapleton's 2020 fourth album
- Fourteen songs, produced by Dave Cobb
- Includes Starting Over, Cold and Maggie's Song
Stapleton's fourth album arrived in November 2020 with fourteen songs and Dave Cobb back at the desk, and it is the loosest of his records: more band, less polish, and a willingness to let a take breathe. Maggie's Song and Cold sit alongside songs borrowed from Guy Clark and a version of You Should Probably Leave that he had been playing live for years. The title track opens it on a note of plain hope, which is roughly where the whole thing lands. Double 180 gram vinyl.
