Album Facts
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (180g) Vinyl LP
Album for lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year
- 180g vinyl pressing of Pink Floyd's 1975 Wish You Were Here
- Includes Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Have a Cigar, and the title track
- One of the greatest and most beloved progressive rock albums ever made
Released in 1975 on Harvest and Columbia, Wish You Were Here is Pink Floyd's aching tribute to absent friends, a meditation on alienation and the music industry and a heartfelt elegy to former bandmate Syd Barrett. Lush and emotionally direct, it is framed by the two halves of the sprawling Shine On You Crazy Diamond, with the churning Welcome to the Machine, the sardonic Have a Cigar and the beloved acoustic title track at its heart. Many fans' favorite Floyd record, and this 180g pressing is an essential cornerstone for any collection.
