A Moon Shaped Pool is Radiohead's ninth studio album, released in 2016 and their most quietly devastating record. Produced with longtime collaborator Nigel Godrich, it leans on Jonny Greenwood's sweeping string arrangements for the London Contemporary Orchestra, wrapping Thom Yorke's voice in piano, choir and slow-building electronics. "Burn the Witch" opens with nervy, percussive strings, "Daydreaming" drifts in a half-asleep haze, and the long-awaited studio version of "True Love Waits" closes the album in near silence. Pressed on two LPs from XL Recordings.
