Raised on jazz, Motown, and gospel, vocalists Tonya Kelly, Joi Marshall, and Di Reed, known collectively as Jade, could make just about anything sound good, and their 1992 debut had top-notch production to match. Hitmaker Vassal Benford penned nearly half the eleven songs with co-producer Ron Spearman, and the album went Platinum on the strength of four Top-100 singles: "I Wanna Love You," "Don't Walk Away," "One Woman," and "Looking for Mr. Do Right."
