Album Facts
Various - Final Fantasy Tactics Best Selection (Original Soundtrack) Vinyl LP
Ivalice's grand, martial score, finally on wax.
- Vinyl pressing of the Final Fantasy Tactics Best Selection soundtrack
- Sweeping Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata orchestral score from the cult-favorite tactical RPG
- Essential pickup for video-game soundtrack and RPG-music collectors
Final Fantasy Tactics arrived in 1997 with one of the most distinctive scores in the series, written by Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata in a grand, martial, faintly medieval register that suits the war-torn kingdom of Ivalice. This Best Selection vinyl from Square Enix gathers 15 tracks from it, including Bland Logo - Title Back, Antipyretic and Battle on the Bridge, and the analog format gives the brass and strings real room to breathe. The jacket carries newly drawn artwork by Akihiko Yoshida, and a digital download is included. A natural pickup for RPG and video game music collectors.
