For Fans Of

Vinyl LP pressing, digitally remastered edition. Lodger is David Bowie's thirteenth studio album, originally released in May 1979 by RCA. The last of the Berlin Trilogy, it was recorded in Switzerland and New York with collaborator Brian Eno and producer Tony Visconti. Unlike the previous two albums, Lodger contains no instrumentals and a more pop-oriented style, experimenting with world music and recording techniques inspired by Eno's Oblique Strategies cards, from old tunes played backwards to musicians playing unfamiliar instruments.
