Crystal Harmonics is a solo project from Jon Tye of Seahawks, a longtime explorer of spacious, ambient sound who released the 1994 classic iO as MLO. Recorded for the KPM library at The Centre of Sound in Cornwall, it gathers visionary collaborators including Jon Brooks (The Advisory Circle), Seaming To, Steve Moore (Zombi), and Richard Norris (The Grid). Across pieces like "Crystal Drift," "Rainbow Ripples," and "Peace Bells," electronic flute, bells, synth drones, and gentle machine beats drift through a serene, meditative landscape. Inspired by KPM's mid-1980s run of modern classical and new-age gems, it was mastered by Simon Francis and cut by Pete Norman.
