Hot Spot is the only album released by Chicago funk band Royal Flush, issued in 1980 on the small Texas label Lucky and later on GEC, the label of former Shy Lights producer Clarence Johnston. Although it may not be widely known even among funk fans, it is an underrated record with a traditional funk sound and qualities that sometimes approach the heights of P-Funk. P-Vine is proud to present the first-ever vinyl reissue.
