A 35th-anniversary edition of A Way of Life, the third studio album by influential electronic-punk duo Suicide. Though they received little credit during their career, Suicide are cited as one of the most inspirational bands of the era, influencing the likes of Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. Originally released in 1988, more than a decade after their iconic self-titled debut, A Way of Life again paired Alan Vega and Martin Rev with The Cars' frontman Ric Ocasek, who produced its taut industrial-pop songs. This edition is fully remastered by Denis Blackham and adds the bonus tracks "Heat Beat" and a newly unearthed live cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA."
