The full scope of Masayoshi Takanaka's legendary Rainbow Goblins Story concert, captured over two nights at Nippon Budokan on March 10 and 11, 1981, the day of and the day after the release of The Rainbow Goblins. The first set recreates the concept album on stage, inspired by Ul de Rico's picture book, and the second runs through Takanaka's best-loved songs. Picture a rainbow neon arch across the stage, a laser show, seven musicians in goblin-colored costumes and Takanaka in a yellow jumpsuit on a rainbow Yamaha SG. Mastered by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios for its 45th anniversary, on 2CD.
