Album Facts
Thundercat - Distracted (Red Color) Vinyl LP
Created in close collaboration with Greg Kurstin
- Limited Red Color variant on Brainfeeder
- First Thundercat album in six years
- Essential modern crossover record for jazz, funk, soul, and electronic music collectors
Distracted, released April 3, 2026, is Thundercat's first album in six years and his first made in close collaboration with producer Greg Kurstin. Its 15 tracks bring in a wide circle of friends, including Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, Willow, Tame Impala and Channel Tres, with additional production from Flying Lotus and Kenny Beats. Expect the blend that made his name: virtuosic bass, jazz-fusion chops, soft-focus soul vocals and a sense of humor that never undercuts the feeling. Funky, warm and a little absurd, it is the Brainfeeder bassist back at full strength, on red vinyl.
