Colours Revisited is Adam F's top-to-bottom rebuild of Colours, his 1997 debut and a landmark of jazz-flavored drum and bass. Rather than simply remastering it, he spent two years reworking the music: restoring his vintage Fender Rhodes, bringing in UK jazz pianist Julian Joseph, and having Kirsty Hawkshaw and the late MC Conrad re-record their parts, with fresh live solos layered throughout. The result keeps the original's '80s British electronica and jazz fusion DNA while adding new depth and warmth. A welcome return for a record that found a whole new audience decades on. Triple LP on black vinyl.
