Get A Grip, released in April 1993 on Geffen, is Aerosmith's eleventh studio album and the peak of their late-career comeback. Produced by Bruce Fairbairn, it pairs swaggering hard rock with the big power ballads that made the band an MTV fixture, from Livin' on the Edge and Eat the Rich to the trilogy of Cryin', Crazy and Amazing, whose videos starred a young Alicia Silverstone. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry sound hungry and loose throughout, trading hooks and riffs with real swagger. Pressed as a 180g double LP.
