Odoru Daisousasen ran on Fuji TV in 1997 and its theme has outlived the show by some distance. Akihiko Matsumoto built the score out of drum and bass, big beat and the kind of hard-edged brass a detective series needs, and Rhythm And Police is the piece everyone knows, sitting second on side A. Yuji Oda's Love Somebody appears twice, in a jungle version and a sweet one. Fifteen cues across four sides. The soundtrack existed only on CD from 1997 until this pressing, which is its first time on vinyl.
