Amy Winehouse made Back to Black in 2006 with Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, who built her a sixties soul band to sing over: Dap-Kings horns, Motown drums, girl-group harmonies, and lyrics far too honest for the setting. "Rehab", "You Know I'm No Good", "Love Is a Losing Game" and the title track have not softened with twenty years on them. This anniversary edition adds unreleased demos, the complete B-sides, Live at Paradiso Amsterdam 2007, new notes from Ronson and Salaam Remi, and unseen photos. Pressed on chalkboard marble vinyl for indie retail. Street date: October 23.
