Not the live album anyone expected. Amyl and The Sniffers set up with a group of friends at El Coyote, the old Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, and played their catalog back as stripped down country songs. 'Chewing Gum', 'Hertz', 'Big Dreams' and 'Jerkin'' all turn up rearranged, alongside two unreleased tracks and a cover of Slim Dusty's 'Lights on the Hill'. John Angus Stewart, the band's longtime collaborator, filmed and recorded it in front of a small and increasingly rowdy room. Amy Taylor's voice carries it, loose and funny and closer to the bone than the pub rock version ever lets her get.
