Six years on from On Circles, the Beverly post-rock band came back by going backward on purpose. Recorded over a few spring sessions with Brett Romnes, the self-titled sixth album runs six tracks and thirty-nine minutes, and the band describe it as reviving pledges they made twenty-two years ago: structural simplicity, melodies you can actually hold onto, and no reinvention for its own sake. 'Remain' stretches past nine minutes without wasting any of them, and 'Waltz for the End' closes things in the register this band has always done best. Indie exclusive peach vinyl.
