The supergroup Deltron 3030 pairs producer Dan the Automator, rapper Del tha Funkee Homosapien, and DJ Kid Koala. Their self-titled release features appearances by Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur), Prince Paul, Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Money Mark, MC Paul Barman, and Sean Lennon. Released the same year as the first Gorillaz 12-inch and on a similar plane, it is a full-blown concept album: a paranoid journey set in a dystopian year 3030 of viruses, apocalypse, oppressive government, and a war against the universe-ruling Corporate Bank of Time. For this 25th Anniversary Edition, it appears as a double splatter pressing in a gatefold jacket, with record one in clear, yellow, and black splatter and record two in clear, mint green, and bluejay splatter, housed in printed inner sleeves with a commemorative OBI.
