Doctor Rhythm is a project started by guitarist Paul Peterson and Spirits Rejoice, a jazz fusion band that had been active since the late 1970s, incorporating a great deal of funk and soul influences.

This album, made after the hit single “Shine On,” is the only album under the Doctor Rhythm name, and is now a rare grooming masterpiece sought after by collectors around the world, especially rare groove fans.
