Morricone prepared a twelve-track album that went unreleased at the time; the music surfaced a decade later paired with Corleone, then grew under his own supervision with eight bonus cues. This Beat Records edition presents all twenty tracks from the stereo masters of the original sessions, from the brooding main theme and the eight-minute Momento Decisivo to the aching Sicilia Dei Ricordi Lontani, a tense, melancholy late-period Morricone crime score.
