Francis Bebey never sat still long enough to be filed properly. A Cameroonian writer, broadcaster and guitarist, he put pygmy flute against drum machines and folk chant against synthesizers for thirty years and left behind more than anyone had heard. These twenty tracks came off tapes found in his son Patrick's house and digitized at Abbey Road, and they run from afro-funk to political commentary to the shimmering electronic material of his later years.
