Repeater was Fugazi's first full album, and after two EPs of pure force it is where the band started building rooms instead of walls. Joe Lally's bass carries whole songs, Brendan Canty plays around the beat rather than on it, and MacKaye and Picciotto trade lines like they are arguing in good faith. Turnover creeps in on a bassline and then detonates. Merchandise puts the band's entire economic argument into one chorus. Recut and reissued in 2009, and pressed here on blue vinyl.
