When Square Enix rebuilt Secret of Mana in 2018, it did not simply port Hiroki Kikuta's 1993 score across. Kikuta oversaw a full re-recording and handed the tracks out to fourteen arrangers, among them Yuzo Koshiro, sasakure.UK, Kikuo, DE DE MOUSE, PinocchioP and Sachiko Miyano, with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra on several pieces. The result runs three discs and forty four songs, from 'Fear of the Heavens' through 'Meridian Dance', each one a different reading of music most players know by heart. A Japanese import, and the only place to hear these versions on disc.
