Album Facts
IDK - Is He Real? Vinyl LP
A concept record about faith that actually earns the label.
- IDK's 2019 studio album on vinyl
- A concept record working through faith, doubt and upbringing
- Production moving between gospel warmth and colder electronics
IDK built his 2019 album around a question he could not settle, working through faith, doubt and the pull of what he grew up around. The production moves between gospel-leaning warmth and something far colder without losing the thread, and the features are chosen to serve the argument rather than to pad a tracklist. It is a concept record that earns the label rather than wearing it, and it remains the clearest window into how he thinks.
