Album Facts
IDK - USee4Yourself Vinyl LP
The personal one. Memoir more than concept.
- IDK's 2021 studio album on vinyl
- Turns inward through childhood, incarceration and self-image
- Production that keeps shifting rather than settling into one mode
USee4Yourself followed in 2021 and turned the focus inward, trading the broad questions of its predecessor for something closer to memoir. IDK works through childhood, incarceration and the distance between how he is read and who he actually is, and the production keeps shifting underneath him rather than settling into one mode. Guests appear across it without crowding the record out. It is his most personal album and his least tidy, which are probably the same thing.
