Iron Maiden - Somewhere Back in Time: The Best of 1980-1989 Vinyl LP
The first Maiden decade, gallop intact, across two LPs
- Covers Iron Maiden's first decade, from Paul Di'Anno through Bruce Dickinson
- Includes Run to the Hills, The Trooper, Aces High and 2 Minutes to Midnight
- Two LPs in a gatefold sleeve
Built as a companion to the Somewhere Back in Time tour, this set draws a line through Iron Maiden's first decade: the Paul Di'Anno years at the front, then Bruce Dickinson arriving and the band swelling into galloping, twin guitar epics. Run to the Hills, The Number of the Beast, The Trooper, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Wasted Years and Aces High all land here, several in live versions pulled from Live After Death. Spread across two LPs in a gatefold, it is the most direct route into the run that made Maiden a standard rather than a scene.
