Feelings first appeared on the Italian label Carosello in 1974, credited to Jay Richford and Gary Stevan, and it has been a holy grail for library music collectors ever since. It is tough, lean funk and street jazz: chunky drum breaks, prowling bass, wah guitar and horn lines built for cop-show car chases that never aired. As the story goes, the names were pseudonyms for Stefano Torossi and Giancarlo Gazzani, though Torossi later explained that Sandro Brugnolini and Puccio Roelens worked on it too. Be With Records gives it a proper reissue for diggers and beatmakers alike.
