Britta Phillips sang for Jem in 1985 and she sings for her again here, forty years on, with six of the songs people actually remember re-recorded from the ground up. The production is contemporary without being embarrassed about where the material came from, the keys are mostly the originals, and the whole thing was made by an all-female production team. It follows Jem and the Holograms Reimagined from the year before. Pressed on tidal wave blue vinyl, which is exactly the shade the name suggests.
