Jiro Inagaki led Soul Media through the most combustible stretch of Japanese jazz, and Woodstock Generation is the album where the band stops choosing between jazz and rock and takes both. Fuzz guitar, organ, heavy breaks and Inagaki's saxophone cutting across the top, recorded for Union Records as the late sixties spilled into the seventies.
