Sixteen tracks, and the first John Legend album in a while that sounds built around the piano rather than around a production team. Muse leans on the thing he has always done better than his peers: a melody carried by voice and keys with enough room left for both to breathe. The writing circles devotion, doubt and the work of staying in love with someone over time, which is familiar territory for him and not any less affecting for it. Indie exclusive smokey quartz vinyl.
