Kings of Leon - Come Around Sundown Vinyl LP
Southern rock warmth from the Followills, spread over two LPs
- Kings of Leon's 2010 fifth album, reissued on two LPs
- Produced by Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King, recorded in New York and Nashville
- Includes Radioactive, Pyro, and Back Down South
Come Around Sundown found Kings of Leon on top of the world and looking back toward home. The Followill family's fifth album, cut in New York and Nashville with producers Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King, trades some arena gloss for Southern warmth, surf-tinged guitars and Caleb Followill's frayed, aching vocals. Radioactive rides a gospel-flavored chorus, Pyro builds slow and burns long, and Back Down South brings fiddle and front-porch looseness to the party, with The End, Mary and Pickup Truck rounding out a richly textured record.
