Released in July 2002, Reanimation takes Hybrid Theory apart and hands the pieces to other people. Every track is rebuilt by an outside producer or MC, with the Alchemist, Evidence, Aceyalone, Black Thought, Chairman Hahn and Mike Shinoda himself among them, and the results sit closer to underground hip-hop than to the record they came from. Pts.OF.Athrty and Enth E Nd carried it on radio and video, but the deeper cuts are where the experiment pays off. Double LP.
