By 1969 Arthur Lee had replaced the whole band and gone looking for something harder. Four Sail is the last Love album for Elektra and the first with the new lineup, trading the baroque delicacy of Forever Changes for electric guitar and Jay Donnellan's lead work. 'August' and 'Singing Cowboy' show Lee could still write, and the difference is that here he wanted to be loud about it. Light blue vinyl, exclusive to brick and mortar shops. Street date: October 16.
