Album Facts
Mac Miller - Faces (Yellow Colored Vinyl LP)
The last official Mac release
- Yellow Color vinyl pressing of Mac Miller's 2014 mixtape Faces
- Sprawling jazz-rap mixtape often cited as Mac's underrated masterpiece
- Includes Diablo, Colors and Shapes, and Polo Jeans
Faces first arrived as a free mixtape in 2014, and many fans still hear it as Mac Miller's masterwork. Produced largely by Mac himself as Larry Fisherman, it is a dark, jazzy, psychedelic trip through addiction, fame and restlessness, written with startling honesty and a lot of dry humor. Guests include ScHoolboy Q, Earl Sweatshirt, Rick Ross, Vince Staples, Ab-Soul and Mike Jones. "Diablo," "Colors and Shapes," "Polo Jeans" and "Grand Finale" are the tracks to start with. This edition, issued in 2021 as the mixtape's first official release, presses it on yellow vinyl.
