A Little Rhythm and a Wicked Feeling is Magdalena Bay's first EP for Luminelle, originally released in 2020 and packed with electro-pop gems from the Los Angeles duo of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin. Arriving a year before their acclaimed debut album Mercurial World, it is an early glimpse of their knack for shimmering, hook-forward synth-pop, mixing glossy 80s textures, playful internet-age weirdness and sugar-rush choruses. Bright, inventive and endlessly replayable, it shows the blueprint for everything that followed. A must for fans of Imaginal Disk and anyone who loves adventurous modern pop.
